Duro DI-K109. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All terrain traction; Enhanced controllability; Upgraded load durability; . OVERVIEW: The Duro DI-K109 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for ATVs and UTVs. This model was made for the vehicle’s front axle. The tire improves the all terrain traction with the tread block placement. The tread design with the knob placement and the high void ratio enhances the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. These tread elements allow the tire to optimize the forward motion at all times, optimizing the deep mud and loose terrain grip. The tread elements keep the footprint clean, while preventing stone retention. In this manner, rocks cannot drill into the casing as they cannot lodge between the tread elements. The self-cleaning capability of the footprint does not allow mud and snow from blocking the surface contact, increasing the off-road terrain performing safety. The maintained surface contact of the knobbed tread design improves the controllability. The better terrain surface contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The better control over the vehicle enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle during its on- and off-road application. The DI-K109 boosts the load durability. The tire’s strengthened internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, greatly improving the load capacity. As the tire does not deform, it is able to improve the load carrying and withstanding ability. In other words, the tire greatly upgrades the load capacity throughout the performance. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction. When it comes to ATV tires, there might be slight visual differences between brands and models even if the tires are of the same size. NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE: This tire model is not DOT-approved for highway use. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
