FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All season performance; Enhanced controllability; Upgraded load durability; . OVERVIEW: The Eco-Trail ST is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The model ensures the tire’s safe performance throughout the year. The ribbed tread design and the all season compound improve traction in dry, wet, and winter conditions. At the same time, this tread pattern closely maintains road contact in all conditions. Also, the special silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. Zigzag circumferential grooves help the tire prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint in wet weather conditions. The ribbed tread design and its close road contact improve steering responsiveness and towing stability. This increases the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The structure also helps prevent the trailer from swaying. The outer ribs, with the optimal elements, offer great cornering abilities as well. This combination enhances overall controllability and maneuvering, which enables the towing vehicle to have exceptional control over the trailer. The Eco-Trail ST upgrades load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the strong rubber compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. They do not allow the tire to deform, which enhances its carrying and withstanding ability. It also improves the model’s load capacity, which makes this tire perfect for heavy-duty performance. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
