Hi-Run LQ229. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All season traction; Fuel efficient performance; Enhanced controllability; Upgraded load durability; . OVERVIEW: The Hi-Run LQ229 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The detailed tread design and the all season compound boost the all weather traction. The detailed tread design and the durable compound enable the tire to upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The stronger compound elements enable the tire to boost and upgrade the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The stabilized tread elements allow the tire to optimize the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from the footprint.A fuel efficient performance is ensured. The all season compound enables the tire to ease the pressure off the tire, lowering the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the towing vehicle’s fuel intake levels. Decreasing the rolling resistance allows the tire to greatly lower the towing vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This promotes a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience. The ideal ribbed pattern and the stability of the tread elements to improve the controllability. This combination guarantees the tire’s surface contact in order to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the tire is able to greatly boost the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle’s instruction. It also stabilizes the structural stability and prevents the tire’s wandering during its performance. The tire is able to greatly upgrade towing safety and the towing vehicle’s constant control over the trailer. The Hi-Run LQ229 boosts the load durability as well. The reinforced bias ply structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, it is able to greatly upgrade the load carrying and withstanding ability. This enables the tire to greatly enhance the tire’s overall load handling power. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
