Milepro MP266. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Year-round performance; Improved controllability; Enhanced load durability; . OVERVIEW: The Milepro MP266 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The ribbed tread pattern and the all season compound enhance year-round performance. They improve dry, wet, and winter traction. In other words, the ribbed tread pattern ensures better road contact at all times, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in versatile temperatures. On the other hand, wide circumferential grooves resist hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet situations. The model also offers great controllability and stability. The ideal tread pattern follows the road at all times, increasing steering responsiveness and towing stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while the structure is stabilized against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs boost the cornering ability, which increases the driving safety levels throughout the performance. The Milepro MP266 guarantees excellent load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound keep the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it can carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. It significantly upgrades the load-carrying capacity, making this model perfect for trailer applications. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
