Zeemax TrailExpress. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All weather traction; Enhanced controllability; Damage resistance; . OVERVIEW: The Zeemax TrailExpress is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The tire offers great all weather traction with the tread design and all season compound. This combination enables the tire’s secure grip on dry, wet and winter weather road conditions. The compound maintains the rubber flexibility to keep the tire pliable in different temperatures, while the symmetric ribbed tread design boosts the grip on the road surface during the model’s performance. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and enhance the wet and slushy grip as well as the driving safety. The tread’s symmetric ribbed pattern also boosts the controllability. The tire’s constant surface contact closely follows the road surface while the tires are in motion. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s steering instructions, while the structure secures the driving stability during the drive. The stabilized construction and footprint ensure the tire’s easy handling, making the towing vehicle’s job easier. The TrailExpress upgrades the damage resistance as well. The grooves feature stone ejecting knobs which prevent rocks from lodging between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire does not allow the model to damage the casing by drilling rocks into the tread area, actively preventing stone retention. The reinforced construction and durable compound work together to resist punctures, cuts and other damage which may harm the casing. They strengthen the tire against road hazards, promoting a secure driving experience. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
